Potters Bar
Anyone ever lived there? Moving there next month. Furnish me with your horror stories of why it's a terrible idea...

I see the local non league team have the old Wembley turnstiles, and give away season tickets for free. So that's certainly tempting!

Last I heard about it was the rail crash. Before that, Tony Jacklin.

Lot of Arsenal and Spurs fans there I should think.

People are nice, decent shops - not bad at all.

Just don't venture too far north or you might end up in Luton.

That really is a FUCKING SHITHOLE.

I had never been to Potters Bar before picking my son up from the train station on the way to the recent Arsenal match... in the three minutes I was there I saw several chaps with claret and blue scarves on so it can't be all bad!

I lived there between the ages of 9-20. Glad to have got out. No plans to go back. Grim suburban town. Although I imagine there's far worse out in Essex. I suppose it depends where you're coming from.
